Welcome to A Yoga Way!
I have been teaching and practicing hatha yoga classes and meditation for over twenty years here in Coral Springs, FL. Now, I would like to broaden my teaching horizons and share my experience and expertise with as many people as I can. I truly believe that yoga classes can help everyone live a healthier and happier life. Whether you are looking for your first yoga class or have a long history of practicing yoga, whether you are young or old, a couch potato or a fitness buff, the right yoga classes can calm your mind, relax your body and raise your spirits. Yoga is an ancient health care system that seeks to harmonize and improve the body, mind and spirit through exercise, breathing and meditation. No matter who you are or what your level of health and physical fitness, the correct and continued practice of yoga can improve your health, physical fitness and your sense of well being in a variety of ways. During any yoga class, you will work to coordinate your body mind and breathe and be mindful of each move and each breathe you take.
And don’t worry if you are new to yoga classes. Some of your yoga class mates may be very experienced and extremely flexible. Your practice of yoga is all about YOU! Your yoga class should never hurt you. If a pose starts to hurt or is uncomfortable listen to your body! You can stop and rest. Yoga is not a competition. Someday you may be able to do that difficult pose, but today is not that day. It is important to listen to your body and not your class mates’ or instructors’ bodies. We each have a different history, different past and potential injuries and aches, and a unique life. Your yoga class can be tailored to your unique needs, but you need to listen carefully to what your body tells you in each moment and each pose.
If you live in south Florida, or are just visiting, you can find one of my yoga classes on my schedule of yoga classes. You are welcome to attend any of my classes. I teach yoga in Coral Springs, Florida and in cities nearby. My fellow teachers and I modify each yoga class to the skill level of the participants so that everyone gets the most benefit.
